Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, software, and websites provided by AskRank ("AskRank", "we", "us"). By purchasing a plan, signing up, or otherwise using our services, you ("Client", "you") agree to these Terms.
1. What we provide
AskRank is an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and SEO agency combined with a software platform. Our services include, depending on your plan:
- AEO and SEO strategy, content production, and execution performed by our team as a managed, done-for-you service;
- Tracking of your brand's visibility across AI answer engines (including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity);
- Access to the AskRank software platform (app.askrank.net) for monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
2. Plans, billing & subscription
- Plans are billed as a recurring monthly retainer in US Dollars, in advance, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
- You may cancel at any time before your next renewal; cancellation stops future charges. See our Refund Policy for how cancellations and refunds are handled.
3. The work is a service, not a guaranteed outcome
AEO and SEO results depend on factors outside our control, including the behavior of third-party AI engines and search engines, your market, and your own assets. We commit to performing the work professionally and in good faith. We do not guarantee specific rankings, citations, traffic, or revenue.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate company information and timely access to assets, accounts, or approvals we reasonably need;
- Ensure you have the right to the materials, brands, and domains you ask us to work on;
- Use the software platform only for your own business and not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or resell it.
5. Intellectual property
Deliverables we create specifically for you become yours once paid for. The AskRank platform, methods, and underlying technology remain our property. You grant us a limited license to use your brand assets solely to perform the services.
6. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public information and use it only to deliver or receive the services.
7. Refunds
AskRank is a done-for-you agency service. Because work begins immediately and capacity is reserved for you, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel future renewals at any time. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskRank's total liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the one (1) month preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or unlawful or abusive use. You may stop using the services at any time.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
